A place in the landscape: Carole Bullock

Gallery two showcases a solo exhibition by Carole Bullock. Alluding to the texture of the Australian landscape, its dense and wild spaces, Carole Bullock’s work produces a deliberate tension between forms of nature and ghostly, figurative elements that are often only barely visible. The exhibition questions the paradigm of place and its ultimate question of determination – how do we exist in the world?

This exhibition features paintings, drawings, etchings, aquatints and other works by the artist.

Location

The gallery is located at 233 Sydney Road, Brunswick, next to the Brunswick Town Hall. The building is near the corner of the Sydney Road and Dawson Street intersection. Enter through glass doors on Sydney Road. The gallery is to the left of the Brunswick Citizen Service Centre.
